Privacy Notice

How Thailand Luxury Privé handles visitor information. The current site does not collect personal data from visitors.

Privacy Notice

Effective date: 15 May 2026 Site mode: Phase 0 — this site does not currently collect personal data from visitors

Summary

In plain language: Thailand Luxury Privé does not collect personal data from you when you visit this site. We do not run a newsletter signup form. We do not run contact forms. We do not run display advertising that tracks you with cookies. We do not collect IP addresses beyond standard server-log retention (24 hours).

The only ways your information reaches us are:

  1. You email us directly. Email arrives at hello@thailandluxuryprive.com and is held in the editorial inbox.
  2. Anonymized server logs. Our hosting platform (Cloudflare Workers) retains anonymized request logs for up to 24 hours for operational purposes (debugging, abuse prevention). After 24 hours these logs are deleted.
  3. Cookieless analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors. It aggregates pageview data only.

That’s the entire scope of data we hold about you. This page exists to confirm that and to explain what changes when we add features.

What we collect from you (currently nothing)

We do not have a working email signup, contact form, intake form, or any other mechanism that captures your personal data on this site. If you choose to email us directly at hello@thailandluxuryprive.com, we hold your email address and your message contents in our editorial inbox. We process the message, respond, and retain the correspondence for editorial archive purposes.

We do not share your email correspondence with third parties.

What we do not do

  • We do not run a newsletter signup at this site revision. (When we do, this notice will be updated.)
  • We do not embed third-party trackers (Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • We do not run display advertising with tracking cookies.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share visitor data with third parties. We have no visitor data to share.
  • We do not use cookies beyond functional cookies required for the site to render correctly.

What changes when we add features

We anticipate adding the following in a future site revision:

  • Email newsletter — at that point, we will collect your email address (with consent) and use it to deliver our editorial despatches.
  • Premium digital products — at that point, Stripe will collect your payment and billing information to process purchases.
  • Booking inquiry forms — at that point, we will collect inquiry details and route them to our editorial-partnership counterparts (Fora Travel, etc.).
  • Display advertising — we may activate Mediavine or AdSense, both of which set cookies.

When we add any of these features:

  1. This privacy notice will be updated.
  2. We will add a cookie consent banner with granular controls.
  3. We will appoint a Data Protection Representative in Thailand (under PDPA Section 37(5)) and in the European Union (under GDPR Article 27) and the United Kingdom (under UK GDPR Article 27). Their contact details will appear in this notice.
  4. We will publish our cross-border data transfer mechanism (PDPC-form Standard Contractual Clauses for Thailand → US transfers).

Until then, this notice reflects what the site actually does, which is nothing on the personal-data side.

Cookieless analytics — Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and basic site performance. Cloudflare’s analytics:

  • Are cookieless.
  • Do not use device fingerprinting.
  • Do not collect IP addresses for analytics purposes (aggregated only).
  • Do not identify individual visitors.

For more information, see Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation at https://www.cloudflare.com/web-analytics/.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracker that would identify you individually.

Server logs

When you visit the site, our hosting platform (Cloudflare Workers) generates a request log entry. The log entry includes:

  • The URL you requested
  • The HTTP status code returned
  • The approximate request timestamp
  • An anonymized request identifier

These logs are retained for up to 24 hours for operational purposes (debugging, abuse prevention, performance monitoring). They are not used for analytics, advertising, or any personal-identification purpose. After 24 hours, the logs are deleted.

Email correspondence

If you email hello@thailandluxuryprive.com, your message arrives in our editorial inbox (a standard email service operated by us). Your email address and the contents of your message are held in this inbox until:

  • We respond to your message, and
  • We complete any editorial action arising from the correspondence, and
  • A reasonable archive period elapses (typically 12 months for general correspondence).

If you write to us asking us to delete your correspondence, we will do so within 30 days.

Children’s privacy

Thailand Luxury Privé is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the relevant age). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has sent us correspondence, please write to hello@thailandluxuryprive.com and we will delete the relevant records.

Jurisdictional notes

This site is operated from the United States. The personal data we hold (currently only email correspondence) is held on US servers.

When this site adds features that collect data from residents of Thailand, the European Union, or the United Kingdom, we will be subject to the respective data protection laws of those jurisdictions. Specifically:

  • Thailand (PDPA) — once we collect data from Thai residents, we will appoint a Local Representative under PDPA Section 37(5) and update this notice.
  • European Union (GDPR) — same posture; we will appoint an Article 27 Representative.
  • United Kingdom (UK GDPR) — same posture.

The current site revision does not collect data sufficient to trigger these requirements. When it does, this notice and the data flows it describes will be updated before the data collection begins.
